Receives Nod From Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Pursue State Information-Technology
Contracts in IV&V
PITTSBURGH, PA - Innovate E-Commerce Inc., Pittsburgh-based
business consultants, has been qualified through the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania's ITQ (Invitation to Qualify) process to bid for state
ITQ contracts in information technology in independent verification
and validation (IV&V). This latest IV & V qualification brings Innovate
E-Commerce to its third area of specialization. Innovate E-Commerce
also qualified in consulting and software development.
The firm received its ITQ approval in March of 2006, rendering Innovate
E-Commerce immediately eligible to compete for state ITQ contracts.
According to the ITQ website posted by Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell
and Secretary of General Services James P. Creedon, "Service providers
must meet unique qualification requirements specific to a particular
ITQ contract to become pre-qualified for that contract." Specifically,
the requirements stress current experience and customer references in
the specialty areas. Innovate E-Commerce is one of only 25 companies
qualified in the IV &V category of the ITQ contracts.
