News Release – Innovate E-Commerce's CEO Karen Puchalsky To Serve as Vice President on Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's Board of Directors PITTSBURGH,
PA – Pittsburgh,
PA-Karen Puchalsky, CEO and co-founder of Innovate E-Commerce, will
serve as a vice president on the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's (CLO)
board of directors. Puchalsky is the president of the board of the CLO
Ambassadors, a volunteer corps that supports fundraising and educational
outreach programs of CLO, including the Gene Kelly Awards for Achievement
in High School Musical Theater, the New Horizons program, the Rising
Stars Leadership Recognition event, the Wine Tasting & Silent Auction
and the CLO Academy of Musical Theater. "Karen is a great addition to
CLO's board of directors," said Executive Producer Van Kaplan. "Her
demonstrated leadership and her dedication to the CLO and musical theater
are valuable qualities for our organization." Puchalsky has served the
CLO in various capacities for the past five years. She has chaired and
co-chaired the Rising Star Leadership Recognition Event and chaired
several committees for the Wine Tasting & Silent Auction, a major annual
fundraiser for the CLO's education programs. "The Ambassadors have raised
more than $300,000 for CLO's programs and Karen has played a key role
in that effort. She's a tireless worker who has the ability and drive
to do it all" said CLO General Manager Jim Mercer. Puchalsky founded
Innovate E-Commerce, an enterprise solutions consulting firm, in 1997.
