Puchalsky, CEO and a founder of Innovate E-Commerce, headquartered in
Pittsburgh, was named a "Rivers Club Champion" by the Rivers Club, Pittsburgh.
The Rivers Club is a private business and sport club serving over 2300
of Pittsburgh's civic, social and business leaders. According
to Anne Butera, member relations director for the Rivers Club, "The
Rivers Club Champion award is a recognition program within our organization
and in the Pittsburgh community to heighten awareness of the extraordinary
contributions that Rivers Club members make to the community." "Karen Puchalsky
is being honored as a cultivator of both the arts and technology in
Pittsburgh," said Frank Hamschin, general manager of the Rivers Club.
"She is cofounder of a thriving technology firm, was named one of Pennsylvania's
'Best 50 Women in Business' by the governor, was a founding member of
a technology trade group, and she volunteers as a leader and a doer
