News Release Innovate E-Commerce Named To "Tech 50" List Of Pittsburgh's Technology Leaders PITTSBURGH,
PA
Innovate E-Commerce
Inc., business-to-business e-commerce consultants headquartered in Oakland,
was named to the sixth annual “Tech 50” list of the top-performing technology
companies as identified by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. In
a ceremony at the Carnegie Music Hall, Oakland, on September 26, Innovate
was one of 10 information technology companies honored by the Tech 50
competition, for which 9300 companies in a 13-county region were eligible.
Winners were chosen on the basis of five equally weighted criteria including
financial strength, job growth and retention, sales success, innovation
and corporate citizenship. PricewaterhouseCoopers audited the results. “While
all of us are aware that the past year once again has challenged our
successes, we still are firmly confident of the strong and prosperous
future that our region’s technology industries will enjoy,” said Stephen
Zylstra, chief executive of the Technology Council. “Tech 50 shines
a spotlight on those leading the charge.” “We’re
proud to accept the Tech 50 recognition and to be part of this great
city’s ‘new tradition’ of technology leadership,” said Karen Puchalsky,
president and COO of Innovate E-Commerce. “An award such as the Tech
50 takes on extra meaning in this challenging economy. We salute the
loyal customers, the new customers and the diligent employees who enable
us to continue growing, year after year.” About
