Business Evolution
Founded
in 1997, Innovate E-Commerce pioneered the e-commerce evolution, helping
business-to business customers to capitalize on new and better information
channels including the Internet. Soon our e-commerce projects led to
the building of information gateways— complex, high performance infrastructures
that would link multi-division institutions and companies to common
architectures that enable commerce over the Internet. When the market
shifted to an emphasis on legacy modernization, we were there, applying
our expertise in old and new technologies to build modern infrastructures
for long-range application.
Today Innovate E-Commerce
can uniquely provide enterprise-wide solutions based on broad rather
than narrow problem solving, big thinking rather than myopia, and architectures
that will stand the test of time.
Innovate E-Commerce’s expertise
is well-reflected in our EDI operation, Innovate EDI Managed Services,
which provides global, blue chip customers with e-commerce hosting.
This operation incorporates a state-of-the-art infrastructure with our
own gateways and information tracking system to provide customers with
an optimal environment for processing business-critical documents such
as invoices and purchase orders. The growing operation successfully
processes millions of documents per year.

Innovate
E-Commerce was founded in 1997 by an e-commerce pioneer with decades
of experience from technology leaders including Hewlett- Packard, Digital
Equipment and Sterling Commerce. Founded by Karen Puchalsky, Chief Executive
Officer, the company grew on the average of 300% annually since inception
and, along the way, been recognized and awarded in several competitions.
In addition to the INC.
500 award, the company’s stellar growth has earned it Pittsburgh Technology
Council “Pittsburgh Technology 50” awards in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and
Pittsburgh Business Times “Pittsburgh 100” awards in 2001 and 2002.
The company’s founder also
